Gareth Yuen (Dax, Overdrive) continued his supporting role on the frontier series "Ponderosa" into its second episode. Titled "Joaquin" the episode centers around the birthday of Adam Cartwright (played by Matt Carmody) whose need for protection and vengeance leads him to want a gun as a gift. The Cartwrights also take in a rogue criminal named Joaquin, learning lessons in vigilante justice along the way. Yuen's character of Hop Sing appears in several scenes, as he bakes a cake for the celebration and assists in taking care of their wounded guest.
