Rhoda Montemayor (Rose, Overdrive) played a small part in the recent UK feature film "Adulthood." Montemayor played the role of Kim, a young woman who is involved with a teenaged thug, who is part of the dangerous crime scene on the streets of London. Montemayor is the first character seen in the film, as she is bugged by another teen, who doesn't realize who Kim's boyfriend is. The film itself is a sequel to the 2006 film "Kidulthood," which was also written & directed by Noel Clarke, the star of both films. The movie follows Clarke's character Sam Peel after he's released from prison for killing a rival in the first film. He wants to turn his life around, but soon finds that making amends will lead to fighting for his life. Montemayor only appears in the opening scene of the film.
