Amy Jo Johnson in "Infested" (2002)



Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly, MMPR) had a starring role in the 2002 horror film, "Infested" which revolved around a group of friends who gather for a friend's funeral, only to be attacked by super-powerful insects who eat their victims from the inside. Johnson starred as Jesse, who manages to escape the bug's wrath on several occasions, due to her quick thinking. Below is a sample. Though the film attempts a shock ending, Amy Jo's character, Jesse, does manage to survive longer than the other characters in the film.

Jeffrey Parazzo in "Sugar" (2004)




In the same year he starred as the White Ranger, Jeffrey Parazzo (Trent, Dino Thunder) appeared in the independent Canadian film, "Sugar." Parazzo did not play a major role in the film. His character, Flex, was a drug-addicted gay hustler and he appeared alongside the film's stars Brendan Fehr and Andre Noble in one extended sequence. The movie was filmed in Jeffrey Parazzo's birthplace of Toronto, Ontario.

Jason Chan in "Candy" (2006)



Jason Chan (Cam, Ninja Storm) had a minor role in the recent feature film "Candy," which tells the story of a dysfunctional couple who can't live without each other or without using drugs. The critically-acclaimed film stars Heath Ledger and Abbie Cornish, whom Jason appeared with in his brief scene as a doctor who treats Ledger's character, Dan, for a head injury. The role isn't much of a stretch for Jason Chan who has a medical degree himself.

Barnie Duncan on "Xena: Warrior Princess" (2001)




Barnie Duncan (Piggy, SPD; Toby, Mystic Force) becomes the second PR actor on the blog to have appeared in "Xena: Warrior Princess." He appeared in one scene of the sixth season episode, "Send in the Clones," where Xena and Gabrielle are cloned and forced to confront a villain in the present day. Duncan's character, animal enthusiast, Edwin B. Stalter appears on a news broadcast, detailing his run-in with the Warrior Princess.

Michael Chaturantabut on "Charmed" (2002)




Michael Chaturantabut (Chad, Lightspeed) appeared briefly during the fourth season of the long-running magical drama "Charmed." Michael was uncredited for his appearance as a bodyguard. He had no speaking lines in the episode "Witch Way Now?", where he attempted to shoot one of the Charmed sisters. Michael becomes the fifth Lightspeed Ranger (completing the core 5 Rangers) to appear here on the blog.
