Anna Hutchison, Ari Boyland, James Napier & Jared Turner on "Go Girls" (2009)

Episode #9 of the New Zealand series "Go Girls" was titled "Faking It" and featured 3 former Rangers. Anna Hutchison (Lily, Jungle Fury) continues in her starring role as Amy Smart, whose father turns out to be one of the characters "faking it" in the episode. The episode begins with Amy in bed with one of her best friends, Kevin, who's always had a crush on her. Kevin proceeds to tell the rest of the story via flashback, to show how he ended up in bed with Amy. Ari Boyland (Flynn, RPM) reprises his role as Amy's brother, Scott, who is glad to have Amy working at their father's car re-sale business, since their dad seems to be more M.I.A. than usual. While they are warned that he's gambling & drinking much more than he should, Amy chooses to believe her father when he says he's kicked the habit. Scott, however, isn't so sure they should believe their dad. Meanwhile, Amy looks forward to her best friend Cody's big engagement party to her fiancé, soccer star Eli Fa'asalele, played by RPM guest star, Joseph Naufahu (brother of SPD villain, Rene Naufahu). All of Eli's soccer pals are in attendance, including James Napier's (Conner, Dino Thunder) character, Mark, who uses the party as an excuse to get drunk. Eli is later forced to help him out, leaving Cody behind. The party becomes a huge media event and Amy is having a good time as well, until she learns that her father's gotten into major trouble due to his bad habits. Instead of rushing out to bail him out of another jam, Amy gets drunk and is taken home by Kevin, which leads to the two sleeping together. Amy wakes up the next day with no memory of the encounter and nothing but feelings of embarrassment towards her friend, Kevin. Jungle Fury voice actor, Jared Turner (voice of Whiger, Jungle Fury) appears in a few scenes as Ben Maddox, Cody's unattainable love interest, whom she tries to ignore in favor of a sham marriage. Cody & Ben are unable to stay apart too long, as they run into one another yet again, leading to even more than a kiss. This would be Ari Boyland's final appearance of the season.
