David de Lautour, Tandi Wright, Michelle Langstone & James Napier on "Being Eve" (2001)

Episode 3 of the New Zealand teen sitcom "Being Eve" finds Eve tackling the issue of beauty, thanks to an assignment from her art teacher. David de Lautour (RJ, Jungle Fury) continues his starring role as Eve's crush, Adam Le Beau, whom Eve seeks to gain attention from in the episode titled "Being Beautiful." She attempts to pretty herself up to impress Adam, until Adam reveals in his art project that he thinks those that try too hard to make themselves stand out are unattractive. Eve is aided in her quest to be more beautiful by her father's girlfriend, Allanah, played by series regular Tandi Wright (voice of Aisynia Cruger, SPD) who goes out of her way to change Eve's look since she believes that Eve is feeling insecure and on the verge of an eating disorder. She takes Eve out of school and tries to give her a major make-over, which has no effect on Adam. Michelle Langstone (Kat, SPD) joins the cast in this episode as Miss Renee, the students' art teacher who assigns them the project of bringing in a representation of their idea of the perfect human form. She appears in two extended classroom scenes. James Napier (Conner, Dino Thunder) continues his recurring role as Jared Preston, Eve's classmate who manages to sleep through most of art class. For his project, Jared brings in a picture of the Pope, since he knows he had to be practically perfect to get his job as pope. Napier appears only in the two classroom scenes. Michelle Langstone & James Napier later appear together in the Power Rangers: Space Patrol Delta episode titled "History." Langstone & Tandi Wright both appeared on "Xena: Warrior Princess" together and Langstone appeared alongside David de Lautour in the Power Rangers: Jungle Fury finale.
