Firass Dirani's (Nick/Bowen, Mystic Force) leading role on "Underbelly: The Golden Mile" intensified in the series' seventh episode titled "Full Force Gale." Dirani appeared throughout the episode as his character John Ibrahim attempted to make a big move for peace in King's Cross. In an effort to keep down tensions between rival drug dealers, he puts pressure on the independent, petty dealers to find new territory. This leads to a shooting which he tries to prevent. John again tries to keep the peace by hiring Russell Townsend, the man who got shot, to come work for him and help him get rid of the dealers. Unfortunately, their tactics lead to one dealer's death, which has the cops setting their sights on Ibrahim for the crime, especially when his ex-girlfriend & cop, Wendy Jones, finds him trying to revive the dealer on the street. While John knows he didn't commit the crime, he refuses to rat out Russell and evidence mounts against John, leading the cops to arrest him as an accessory to the crime.
