Matt Austin in "Time Bomb" (2008)


Matt Austin (Bridge, SPD) appeared in the psychological thriller "Time Bomb." Austin appears as a Marine Private who interacts with the film's leading character Jason Philby (played by Jake Busey) as he serves in Iraq. Austin's unnamed character is convinced to break the rules and share a smoke with his superior officer. Jason sends the boy to stop a local man from parking his bike, but it turns out to be equipped with a bomb leading to the young marine's death which haunts Jason, along with the death of his young son and an Iraqi boy that he also killed in Iraq. Austin later appears in an extended scene inside of Jason's head as he tries to figure out his strange hallucinations, which may be caused by an experimental virus. Antonia Prebble & Barnie Duncan on "Outrageous Fortune" (2008)

Antonia Prebble (Clare, Mystic Force) continued her starring role as Loretta West on the New Zealand family drama "Outrageous Fortune." In the fourth season's thirteenth episode, Loretta finds herself trying to protect her grandfather, Ted as he decides to carry out a theft job paid for by his hated rival. Loretta doesn't understand why Ted would go that far for the old woman, until he reveals to her that he intends to sleep with her as part of his payment. Loretta reluctantly helps him with the heist. Prebble's Mystic Force co-star Barnie Duncan (Toby, Mystic Force; Piggy, SPD) also appears in the episode as Dane Harris, a bad boy who gets involved with Kasey, a friend of the West family. After her breakup with her husband, Kasey gets into a reckless romance with the ex-convict that has her friends all turning against her and worrying that she might follow Dane right into prison.

David de Lautour, Craig Parker & Andrew Robertt on "Legend of the Seeker" - 2 (2008)

Episode #2 of "Legend of the Seeker" is titled "Destiny" and directly continues from the show's pilot episode. The trio of PR actors from the first episode all reprise their roles in "Destiny." David de Lautour (RJ, Jungle Fury) continues his role as Michael Cypher, the adoptive brother of the show's hero, Richard a.k.a. The Seeker. Believing Richard is responsible for his father's death, mixed with the natural disasters occuring in his province, leads Michael to agree to help capture Richard, but his efforts are not successful as Richard & his allies escape Michael's mob. Craig Parker (voice of Motodrone, Ninja Storm) returns as Darken Rahl, the show's main villain who is shocked to discover that The Seeker survived after he sent his men to kill the firstborn sons of the village where he was born. Rahl personally kills his general who was in charge of that massacre and orders all of his forces to find The Seeker, at any cost. Andrew Robertt (voice of Morticon, Mystic Force) continues in his role as Ranssyn Fane, the soldier who seeks to destroy Richard himself and take the Book of Counted Shadows. The episode culminates in a battle between Richard & Fane that ends with Fane dead at The Seeker's hand.
