Archie Kao (Kai, Lost Galaxy) returned to his role on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" for the first time this season when he appeared in the eleventh episode of the current season, titled "Ms. Willows Regrets." The episode finds one of the CSI team's veterans, Catherine Willows (series star Marg Helgenberger) investigating the disappearance of one of her close friends, whom she fears may have been murdered. When three other murders are discovered, with a connection to her missing friend, Catherine grows even more upset, despite FBI presence. She consults with Archie, who analyzes photos from a memory card that was hidden inside a birthday card sent to Catherine, which leads her to the house where she finds her friend alive. Archie pops up again later in the episode, as he continues to analyze the pictures on a tip from Catherine's friend. Archie and his comrade David Hodges soon find that data has been encrypted within one of the photos, giving the team another lead on the murderers. Archie will make his second appearance of the 12th season when he guest stars in tonight's new episode, "Trends with Benefits."
Season 12 of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" currently airs on CBS
