Firass Dirani (Nick/Bowen, Mystic Force) continued his starring role on "Underbelly: The Golden Mile" in the sixth episode of the third season, titled "Women in Uniform." While the episode focused on the show's female characters, Dirani's character, John Ibrahim, becomes seriously involved with one of those ladies in this episode. Rookie constable, Wendy Jones (played by Jessica Tovey) has a run-in with John and sparks fly. Though he runs a nightclub on the seedy side of town, known as King's Cross, Wendy gets romantically involved with him anyway. John professes that he's not involved in the local drug trade but Wendy has a hard time believing it, given his lavish lifestyle and young age. When she takes John on a trip with some friends, she's turned off by his demeanor around those she deems "normal." Wendy breaks things off, but John dumps her to save face. Jessica Tovey previously starred on the Australian soap opera, "Home and Away," where her character crossed paths with other former Power Rangers, including Jason Smith and Firass Dirani's Mystic Force co-star, Richard Brancatisano.
