David de Lautour (RJ, Jungle Fury) appeared in the 2009 short film "Blessed Are They." The 10-minute short focuses on the differing views on God, told through the perspective of conversations between people with vastly different backgrounds. David appears as Richard, one of the first characters seen. He is drinking coffee and smoking on the street when he is stopped by a young religious man, looking for charitable donations. The two get into a debate about the ills of the world and who's responsible. While Richard says he's only responsible for himself, not the world, the young man points out that Richard isn't doing anything to help the problem. His view is compounded when Richard says he has no money to donate. "Blessed Are They" was filmed in Auckland, New Zealand. David de Lautour was also part of the writing team for the short, directed by Anton Steel, whom de Lautour worked with on the short film "Isosceles."
