Nathaniel Lees, Oliver Driver & Bruce Hopkins in "Under the Mountain" (2009)

The New Zealand film "Under the Mountain" features a handful of Power Ranger alums. The film follows the story of teen twins, Theo & Rachel, who discover that they may have the ability to save the world from alien beings who are determined to take over the planet. To harness the power within them, they must learn from the mysterious Mr. Jones. Nathaniel Lees (Master Mao, Jungle Fury) appears in a few scenes as Detective Gray. He questions Mr. Jones after an alien attack on Rachel leaves her aunt & uncle's house damaged. While Mr. Jones tries to explain the situation to Detective Gray, the detective comes to the conclusion that Mr. Jones must be delusional until Mr. Jones uses his power of fire to transport himself out of the station to help the teens. Lees' Jungle Fury co-star, Oliver Driver (Master Swoop, Jungle Fury) appears as the film's main villain, Mr. Wilberforce, a reclusive man who soon reveals himself to be an alien being out to stop the children in order to unleash evil on Earth. He appears throughout the film under heavy prosthetic make-up. Ninja Storm voice actor, Bruce Hopkins (voice of Choobo, Ninja Storm) appears briefly at the start of the film as Richard Matheson, Theo & Rachel's father. He sends them to stay with their aunt & uncle in the aftermath of their mother's unexpected death. David Weatherley (Spencer, Overdrive) is credited for his role as a desk sergeant in the film, but his scenes were deleted from the final cut of the movie.
