Ron Roggé (Captain Mitchell, Lightspeed) made a brief appearance during this week's one-hour season premiere of the sitcom "The Middle." The fourth season episode, titled "Last Whiff of Summer," finds the Heck family attending the River County Fair in a last ditch effort to spend time together for a fun Summer. Feeling ignored by her father, Sue decides to get lost at the fair to teach her family a lesson about her importance. When she arrives at the lost & found station, though, she soon realizes that her family isn't looking for her. She encounters a lost boy there and witnesses his happy reunion with his family. Ron Roggé appeared as the boy's unnamed father, who voices his relief at finding his son safe. Roggé appeared in just one scene of the episode. He is the second PR alum on the blog for appearing on "The Middle." Nakia Burrise was the first.
Season 4 of "The Middle" currently airs on ABC
