Eka Darville on "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" - 5 (2010)

Eka Darville (Scott, RPM) appeared in the sixth episode of the action drama "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," continuing his recurring role as Pietros, a slave in the house of Batiatus, the man who has enslaved over a dozen warriors, training them to become gladiators, including Spartacus. In the episode "Delicate Things," Darville gets quite a bit of screentime, as his romantic storyline with the gladiator Barca takes center stage. Barca placed a wager on the last battle of his friend Crixus & Spartacus, who teamed up together to defeat the most violent gladiator to ever grace the arena. With the duo's victory being a long shot, Barca makes a fortune. Ashur, however, has no intention of paying his money and after overhearing Barca & Pietros discuss buying their freedom, he sets a plan into motion that leads to Barca's death. Pietros becomes an unwitting pawn in the scheme. He is questioned by Batiatus about Barca's recent mission to kill Batiatus' enemies and the death of a child comes up. Pietros swears that Barca would never kill a child (which he did) and Batiatus believes that his orders were not upheld and orders Barca's death. At the same time he is killed, Pietros is celebrating his impending freedom, unaware that Barca has been murdered. He is later told by Ashur that Barca bought his own freedom and left Pietros behind.
