Anna Hutchison
(Lily, Jungle Fury) continued her starring role on the New Zealand comedy "Go Girls." In the series' second episode "Signs and Obstacles," her character Amy Smart is willing to try anything to start bringing in cash so she can be on her way to fulfilling her vow to get rich within a year. Already a month in, she finds herself trying to help her deadbeat dad sell cars right outside the front door of their house. When her mother tries to convince her to abandon her father and finish law school, Amy refuses to be around her anymore. Meanwhile, one of her best friends Britta gets involved with her toxic ex-boyfriend and Amy & Cody are forced to keep them apart when Britta gets sucked in by his charm. In the end, Amy's dad decides he no longer has the drive for business, leaving Amy to figure out things on her own. After what she thinks is a sign, she buys a huge stock of socks and sets up her own booth, "Socks in the City" to sell them. Another former Ranger actor, John Tui
(Doggie Cruger, SPD; Daggeron, Mystic Force) also appears in this episode in his role as Timbo, a mechanic who works at the auto shop with main characters Cody & Kevin. Tui appears in most episodes in the background, but here gets some screentime as he and a co-worker watch Kevin's interaction with the Go Girls in the garage and laugh at his closeness with the ladies, which embarrases him.
