Sally Martin & James Gaylyn in "Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior" (2006)

The Disney Channel original movie "Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior" was bound to have a few PR connections, from director John Laing who has directed episodes of the series since Ninja Storm, to action choreographer Koichi Sakamoto who currently produces PR. A few Power Rangers veterans even appear on-screen as well. Sally Martin (Tori, NS) stars in the film as Wendy's friend, "Tory." An in-joke regarding her Ninja Storm character perhaps? As you'll see in the caps she also wore blue in most scenes and even drove a blue car. Also appearing is veteran PR voice actor James Gaylyn (Zeltrax, DT). His character, one of Wendy's teachers, becomes possessed and the spirit within him helps to train Wendy for her biggest fight.

Sasha Williams on "Brothers & Sisters" (2007)

Former Yellow Ranger Sasha Williams (Kelsey, Lightspeed) appeared briefly on the ABC drama series "Brothers & Sisters" playing the role of Maya, a yoga instructor in the episode "Family Day" where she interacted with series regular Dave Annable. It was a bit of a family affair for Sasha, as her mother-in-law Sally Field stars on the series. It was also Sasha's first appearance where she was credited under her married name Sasha Craig.

"Brothers & Sisters" currently airs on ABC

Amy Jo Johnson in "Perfect Body" (1997)

Amy Jo Johnson (Kim, MMPR) used her gymnastics background extensively in the 1997 television movie "Perfect Body" where she played Andie Bradley, a young gymnast who struggles to make it to the top, leading to an eating disorder that threatens her life. Given that Amy Jo was the lead character, she appeared in practically every scene of the television movie. The film also stars Brett Cullen, Wendie Malick and World gymnastics champion, Cathy Rigby who, like Johnson' character Andie, suffered from bulimia.

"Perfect Body" is available on DVD

Jessica Rey on "Rules of Engagement" (2007)

Former Wild Force Ranger Jessica Rey (Alyssa, Wild Force) appeared briefly on the new CBS series, "Rules of Engagement", playing a waitress who causes some jealousy between two of the show's main characters, played by Oliver Hudson & Bianca Kajlich. Rey's character was never referred to by name. Jessica had a speaking role, but appeared in only one scene of the first season episode "Jeff's Wooby."

"Rules of Engagement" airs currently on CBS.

Cerina Vincent in "Not Another Teen Movie" (2001)

Cerina Vincent (Maya, Lost Galaxy) certainly made a statement in her first big budget feature film appearance. In "Not Another Teen Movie", a spoof on teen comedies, Cerina played Areola, the foreign exchange student who never wore clothing, which required Cerina to do the same. The screencaps below are edited for content, however, the full zip file includes screencaps of all her uncensored scenes from the movie, including a deleted scene not shown in theaters.
