Current Yellow Ranger actress Ciara Hanna (Gia, Megaforce) made a brief appearance on the ABC hit drama "Revenge," last year. Hanna appeared in the series twelfth episode, titled "Infamy" as a customer at the bar managed by Jack Porter (series regular Nick Wechsler), who tries to juggle professionalism with the woman he believes is his childhood love, Amanda Clarke (guest star Margarita Levieva), who is more interested in having fun. She refuses to take her time behind the bar seriously, as she flirts with Hanna's character, Amy. Jack warns Amanda, but that doesn't stop Amy from planting a kiss on her. Amanda follows that up with serving shots, directly into Amy and another customers' mouths. Ciara Hanna has only a few brief lines during her appearance in one scene. She's the second PR alum featured on the blog for appearing on "Revenge." Jack Guzman was the first, though his appearance came later in Season 1. "Revenge" was recently renewed for a third season.
Former Power Rangers villainess Ria Vandervis (Miratrix, Overdrive) found herself on the other side of the law for her role as Detective Christie Mills on the New Zealand cop drama "Harry." The series follows the psychological journey of detective Harry Anglesea as he seeks to bring down a major drug ring, while trying to balance life as a single father. Vandervis' character is a loyal member of Harry's team. In the six-part series' finale titled "God Bless Brutus," the detectives get closer to breaking their case wide open and apprehending the mastermind they're after. Mills and a fellow detective, Moss, are out providing surveillance when Harry orders them to pull over one of the drug runners, who pulls his gun as Moss gets close to his window. Moss is critically wounded. Mills springs into action, shooting and killing the perp, before calling in her partner's injury. Later, Mills checks in with Harry who is also reeling from his daughter's disappearance. When Mills mentions a photo of the girl on Harry's desk, it gives him an idea of where to find the missing girl. Dino Thunder alum, Tom Hern (Devin, Dino Thunder) also appears in a few scenes of the finale, as Eugene, a talented drug chemist, who uses his skills to cook up crystal meth for the gang that the detectives are looking to catch. The police descend upon the lab, arresting the criminals, and Eugene as well.
Anna Hutchison (Lily, Jungle Fury) continued her starring role on "Spartacus: War of the Damned," in the fifth episode of the third season, titled "Blood Brothers." Her character Laeta remains bound in chains, but attempts to thank her captors for sparing her life, only to be met with their disdain. Despite her tenuous safety, Laeta keeps her eyes and ears open and witnesses several confrontations between members of Spartacus' rebellion, as they show dissent because of their leader's decisions. Spartacus shows up, announcing that Laeta will be released to the Romans, shocking her. Spartacus tosses her out of her own city himself and she is quickly taken to the Roman army's camp, where she meets Marcus Crassus, who is surprised that Laeta is still alive given her status in the city and her husband's murder. Laeta explains the lengths she went to in order to survive, all in an effort to help her captive people. Her efforts do not seem to endear her to Crassus, who shows no sympathy for her people's plight and is more interested in information she may be able to provide about Spartacus' rebellion. Laeta tells him everything that she overheard earlier, leaving Crassus to believe he has the perfect plan of action against the rebels. Neither realize, however, that the confrontations Laeta witnessed were staged by Spartacus and his blood brothers to trick the Romans, as he knew Laeta would reveal.
