Kevin Duhaney in "Profoundly Normal" (2003)

Former Blue Ranger, Kevin Duhaney (Ethan, Dino Thunder) played a supporting role in the 2003 television movie "Profoundly Normal." The film centers on the lives of two mentally-challenged people, Donna & Ricardo, who grow up together inside a facility filled with disabled kids. As they grow into adulthood, they fall in love and find a lifetime of companionship, as they struggle to fit into the society around them. As adults, the couple is played by veteran actors Kirstie Alley & Delroy Lindo. Kevin Duhaney appears in the second half of the film as Ricky, the couple's son. The couple finds raising Ricky a struggle as well. Born with no disability, they find his mental development leaping past their own as Ricky begins to teach them his school lessons, while learning major life lessons from them in return. Duhaney appears in three lengthy scenes near the end of the film, including a pivotal visit to the facility where Ricky's parents met, which has now been closed down. "Profoundly Normal" was filmed in Kevin Duhaney's home country of Canada.
