Eka Darville & Mark Mitchinson on "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" (2010)

Eka Darville (Scott, RPM) made his sixth & final appearance as Pietros on the bloody cable drama "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" in the show's seventh episode titled "Great and Unfortunate Things." Darville's slave character does not exit the show happily either. With the gladiator Spartacus mourning the death of his wife and Pietros saddened by the departure of his love, Barca, the two cross paths on several occasions in this episode. Spartacus notices the bruises on Pietros, who has been gravely abused by other gladiators now that he no longer has Barca to watch over him. Pietros speaks with Doctore who is in charge of gladiator training and inadvertently gives him hints that Barca's disappearance may not be so legitimate. Later, Spartacus discovers that Pietros has hung himself to end his misery. Eka Darville's RPM co-star, Mark Mitchinson (voice of General Shifter, RPM) also appears briefly in this episode as Aulus, the man responsible for the death of Spartacus' wife. He meets with the head of the gladiator ludus, Batiatus, who paid Aulus to kill Spartacus' wife before they could be reunited and Spartacus could gain his freedom.
