The eighth episode of "Being Eve" was a pivotal one for David de Lautour's (RJ, Jungle Fury) character Adam Le Beau. The episode titled "Being Just Mates" puts the focus on Eve's friendship with Adam now that he's dating her best friend Sylvie. The two get thrown together when Adam calls Eve for help dealing with his alcoholic mother who's fallen. When she's admitted to the hospital, Eve's mother offers to let Adam stay with them until she's fully recovered. This leads to some awkward moments, given Eve's past crush on Adam. When Sylvie finds out that all this has happened and no one has told her, it strains her relationship with Eve and makes her reach out to Adam to take their relationship to the next level, but Adam declines. Meanwhile, Eve spends her time fantasizing about the feud in an imaginary talk show, hosted by her father's girlfriend Allanah. Tandi Wright (voice of Aisynia Cruger, SPD) continues her starring role as Allanah, who appears mostly in the fantasy segments of the episode to instigate the complex nature of Eve's friendships.
Edward Laurence Albert (Mr. Collins, Time Force) guest starred on the comedy "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" during the show's third season. Albert appeared in the episode "You Bet Your Family," playing the role of Diamond Dave LaRouche, a warlock in the magical dimension who is a master at games. When Sabrina's cat Salem bets her and her aunts in a game of poker, the three women are forced to become Diamond Dave's servants until they can plan their escape. Albert appears throughout the episode. The Spellman women eventually escape from Diamond Dave's with Salem's help. He is the second PR alum to be featured on the blog for appearing on "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch." Walter Emanuel Jones was the first.
Season 3 of "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" is available on DVD
Dan Ewing (Dillon, RPM) continued his role on "Home and Away," making his third appearance in Episode #4661. Ewing appears as surfer Reuben Humprhies whose time in Summer Bay has come to an end. But Reuben left town with a well-known Summer Bay resident, Matilda Hunter. This episode picks up their road trip in a neighboring city, where Reuben and his pals decide to try the waves. Reuben spends his time trying to get closer to Matilda. When her boyfriend Ric shows up and attempts to take her home, Reuben steps in to help Matilda stand up to him and stay. Reuben takes this as a hint and tries to kiss her, but Matilda pushes him away, revealing that she's not romantically interested in him. That doesn't stop Ric from busting up Reuben's next date, falsely believing it to be with Matilda.
"Home and Away" currently airs on Seven Network (Australia)
