Edward Laurence Albert in "Guarding Tess" (1994)

Edward Laurence Albert (Mr. Collins, Time Force) appeared in the Golden Globe-nominated feature film "Guarding Tess." The film stars Shirley MacLaine as former U.S. First Lady, Tess Carlisle, who proves to be a thorn in the side of her Secret Service detail led by Nicolas Cage, until she is kidnapped, showcasing the true bond that exists between them. Albert plays Barry Carlisle, the son of the fictional First Lady, who shows up to surprise her. Barry has more than a visit in mind, though, as he uses the opportunity to ask his mother to give a testimonial to a large real estate development he is putting together. Tess scoffs at the idea of using her status to help further his business dealings, which upsets Barry. Albert appears in only a few scenes of the film.

"Guarding Tess" is available on DVD
