Nikolai Nikolaeff on "Sea Patrol" (2009)

Nikolai Nikolaeff (Dominic, Jungle Fury) made his debut on the high seas drama "Sea Patrol," in the second episode of the show's third season. Nikolaeff plays bad boy Leo "2 Dads" Kosov-Meyer who joins the crew of the Hammersley in the appropriately titled episode "Monkey Business." Leo comes to the aide of a fellow crewmember who is cheated in a market while on shore leave. He swindles the conmen in retaliation by buying their prized monkey and then cheating them on the cash. Leo brings the monkey aboard the ship, despite it being against regulations and it begins stealing from his new crew mates, causing him to become the top suspect when the merchandise is found in his bunk. Leo seems on his way off the ship faster than he arrived, especially after the captain discovers his checkered past. Meanwhile, the Hammersley comes upon a couple killed by pirates aboard their boat. When another boat becomes stalled nearby they try to help get it out of harm's way. Leo later discovers, however, that these men are the pirates. Leo and two of his shipmates are captured and he is tortured even more after finding the two men he tricked in the market are amongst the pirates. In the end, Leo escapes and helps free his comrades, gaining their loyalty despite his wise-cracking shenanigans. His nickname of "2 Dads" comes from him having two last names. Given that Nikolaeff appears in almost every scene of the episode, a full zip of his screencaps is available to download.

Rose McIver, Craig Parker & Tandi Wright on "Legend of the Seeker" (2009)

Season 1 of "Legend of the Seeker" comes to a close with three Power Rangers alums in attendance. The twenty-second episode titled "Reckoning," finds The Seeker Richard and his Confessor Kahlan attempting to use the Boxes of Orden to gain the ultimate power to stop Darken Rahl for good. But, their attempt causes Richard to be propelled almost 60 years into the future, leaving Kahlan to be captured by Rahl. When the villain forces Kahlan to become his wife, she uses it as an opportunity to help Richard in the future by bearing a child who can use its power to send Richard back in time just the way her power sent him forward. In order for her plan to work she enlists the help of a servant girl named Alice, played by Rose McIver (Summer, RPM). Kahlan tells Alice she must do all she can to stay alive long enough to tell the future Richard her plan. But, things fall apart when Kahlan gives birth to a boy who betrays her. When she tries to kill him herself, she is sentenced to death and Rahl's forces catch Alice trying to flee and he kills her on the spot. Craig Parker (voice of Motodrone, Ninja Storm) reprises his role as Darken Rahl who appears throughout this episode, reveling in the victory he seemingly has over The Seeker and in fathering an heir to his tyranny. But, Rahl is betrayed when his son uses his powers as a Confessor to get Rahl's most trusted ally to kill him after Kahlan has been killed as well. Parker's character manages to die twice in one hour, as Richard's return to the past sets things right and he uses the power of Orden to finally destroy his nemesis. Tandi Wright (voice of Aisynia Cruger, SPD) also returns in this episode, portraying a Mord'Sith who last appeared in the episode "Mirror." Her character gets the name Alina in this episode and tries to assist in the destruction of The Seeker, but the Mord'Sith ultimately fail due to the betrayal of one of their own. This episode was directed by Michael Hurst (voice of Vexacus, Ninja Storm).
