Two notable PR guest stars appeared in the critically acclaimed science fiction thriller "District 9." The Oscar-nominated movie tells the story of what happens when a group of aliens lands on Earth and are plunged into poverty in a South African slum called District 9. Operation Overdrive guest star Nathalie Boltt (Jessica Jeffries, Overdrive) appears throughout the film as sociologist Sarah Livingstone who gives testimony about the District 9 relocation incident in the documentary-style drama. Her character comments on the social aspects of the aliens' integration into South African society. Also appearing in the film is RPM recurring actor John Sumner (Fresno Bob, RPM). At the beginning of the film, Sumner appears in one brief documentary interview as Les Feldman, the leader of an engineering team whose job was to locate the command module that separated from the alien ship. He reveals that his team searched all over but were unable to locate that piece of the mother ship, which becomes a pivotal plot point later in the film. Parts of "District 9" were filmed in New Zealand, the home country of the film's producer, Peter Jackson.Nathalie Boltt
