Johnny Yong Bosch on "Supah Ninjas" (2011)

Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam, MMPR-Turbo) donned black once again to portray an Ishina ninja in the teen martial arts series "Supah Ninjas." Bosch guest starred in the two-part episode, appropriately titled "Ishina." The episode finds main character, Mike Fukanaga and his crime-fighting friends facing their biggest challenge ever, when his grandfather (played by George Takei) informs the trio of teens that his greatest enemies, the ninja cult known as the Ishina have returned. Mike's family is soon their target, as the Ishina look to take hold of the powerful sword that has been protected by the Fukanaga family for generations. Bosch plays the main Ishina, who gives orders to the army, as they enact their plan, taking Mike's cousin, Connor hostage, to exchange for the sword. Mike & his pals, however, have other plans and spring into action without the sword. Bosch's unnamed character faces off one-on-one with Mike and is defeated. He escapes and is forced to answer to his master, who is revealed to be Mike's young cousin, Connor. "Supah Ninjas" airs on Nickelodeon, the current home of Power Rangers programming. Holly Shanahan, Andrew Laing, Grant McFarland, Olivia Tennet & Damien Avery on "Underbelly NZ: Land of the Long Green Cloud" (2011)

The third episode of New Zealand's "Underbelly: Land of the Long Green Cloud" featured several Power Rangers alums. The episode, titled "All at Sea," finds the drug-trafficking business run by Marty Johnstone & Andy Maher facing increased scrutiny, thanks to covert surveillance by Detective Carole Derwent, played by Holly Shanahan (Camille, Jungle Fury) and her partners, Ben Charlton and "Goose" Gosling, played by Damien Avery (Corporal Hicks, RPM). The trio finds their efforts paying off. Andrew Laing (voice of Venjix, RPM) reprises his role as Detective Sergeant Mackenzie, who informs them that they will be joining forces with the other detectives, to form a task force to bring down the drug smugglers. Meanwhile, Marty & Andy head to Bangkok, Thailand where they form a business relationship with Piak, a powerful drug dealer, played by Grant McFarland (Lothor/Sensei Watanabe, Ninja Storm), who appears in a few scenes of the episode, where he gets his payment and returns the favor with Marty & Andy, welcoming them, despite their need for secrecy, after learning that Piak also has ties to Chinese Jack, their local supplier. Chinese Jack deals with his own business with Marty & Andy's partner, Terry Clark, who has been banished back to Australia thanks to the police. Olivia Tennet (Dr. K, RPM) appears in one extended scene as Julie Theilman, Clark's ally and smart smuggler, who gets a first look at Chinese Jack's new tools to smooth out air travel with drugs, to prevent being detected. Other PR alums appearing in the episode included Joel Tobeck, John Leigh and Jason Hoyte. Given her starring role, full zip of Holly Shanahan's screencaps are available to download below.
