Firass Dirani on "Underbelly: The Golden Mile" - 10 (2010)

The third series of "Underbelly" came to an end with the thirteenth episode of "The Golden Mile," titled "Alpha and Omega." Firass Dirani (Nick/Bowen, Mystic Force) appeared throughout the episode as John Ibrahim, the young club owner whose mysterious dealings with criminal elements in King's Cross reach a climax. After the murder of his friend DK in the previous episode, John finds himself under scrutiny by the police, as the only viable suspect in the crime, despite his pleas of innocence. He finally convinces detective Joe Dooley that all of the things he's acquired in King's Cross have come legitimately from his hard work, not from getting involved with drug violence. He pleads with Dooley to keep the streets safe, so he will no longer carry a gun and have armed men guarding his clubs. When the murder investigation leads the police to the suburbs, they find the men responsible and Ibrahim is cleared of suspicion. Given the violence and mayhem of King's Cross, John Ibrahim is left as the only powerful man standing in the end.
