Grant McFarland & Daniel Sing on "Xena: Warrior Princess" (1997)
Years before his PR stint, Grant McFarland (Lothor/Sensei Watanabe, Ninja Storm) guest starred on the long-running New Zealand action series, "Xena: Warrior Princess." McFarland appeared in the two-part episode "The Debt" as Ming Tzu, the ruler of the Chin kingdom who has several encounters with Xena in her past. McFarland appears via flashbacks in both episodes. In an interesting Ninja Storm twist, Daniel Sing (Kanoi/Kia Watanabe, Ninja Storm) also guest stars in the episodes as Ming T'ien, the adult son of Ming Tzu. Sing portrayed younger versions of McFarland's Ninja Storm characters during the episode "The Samurai's Journey, Part 2." Expect screencaps from "The Debt: Part 2" with the next blog update.
