The eighth episode of "Being Eve" was a pivotal one for David de Lautour's (RJ, Jungle Fury) character Adam Le Beau. The episode titled "Being Just Mates" puts the focus on Eve's friendship with Adam now that he's dating her best friend Sylvie. The two get thrown together when Adam calls Eve for help dealing with his alcoholic mother who's fallen. When she's admitted to the hospital, Eve's mother offers to let Adam stay with them until she's fully recovered. This leads to some awkward moments, given Eve's past crush on Adam. When Sylvie finds out that all this has happened and no one has told her, it strains her relationship with Eve and makes her reach out to Adam to take their relationship to the next level, but Adam declines. Meanwhile, Eve spends her time fantasizing about the feud in an imaginary talk show, hosted by her father's girlfriend Allanah. Tandi Wright (voice of Aisynia Cruger, SPD) continues her starring role as Allanah, who appears mostly in the fantasy segments of the episode to instigate the complex nature of Eve's friendships.David de Lautour
