The New Zealand series "Outrageous Fortune" follows the plights of the West family and their money troubles. Antonia Prebble (Clare, Mystic Force) stars as Loretta, the youngest of the brood. In the series' fifth episode, "The Infants of Spring," Loretta decides to sell bootleg DVDs in an effort to make some extra cash at the Video Hut. Her efforts are almost derailed when the Video Hut is set on fire with her inside, thanks to the efforts of Sparky, a shady man from her father's past. Sparky is played by John Leigh (Brownbeard, Overdrive), who appears in several scenes. Also appearing in the episode is Josephine Davison (Morgana, SPD). Her character, Suzy Hong, is married to the wealthy Mr. Hong, who employs Loretta's slacker brother Van, who starts an affair with Suzy. Their encounter in her car leads to Suzy's back being thrown out, leaving her stuck in the car as it sails into a pond.Antonia Prebble
