Anna Hutchison on "Go Girls" (2009)

"Go Girls" is a New Zealand comedy starring Anna Hutchison (Lily, Jungle Fury). The series follows the lives of three young women, Amy, Britta & Cody, who have been best friends all their lives. But now at the age 0f 25, all three find themselves utterly miserable, so they make a pact to fulfill their biggest dreams within one year. Hutchison portrays Amy, who is stunned when her mother tosses her father out with little money, as a result of their divorce. Amy is forced to watch her childhood home put up for auction. This is causes her vow to become rich in the next year, so she can buy back her mansion and repay her father for all he's done for her. She goes to her ex-boyfriend Brad for a loan but he's busy with his wedding preparations to a girl (Angelina) who hates Amy. When Brad changes his mind and tries to get back together with Amy by buying her father's house, Amy resists and refuses to get back with him. The story is told through the eyes of Kevin, the girls' male best bud who is always drawn into their world as an official "Go Girl." While Kevin makes a flippant vow to get a sports steering wheel within the next year, he secretly wishes to have Amy, whom he's carrying a secret torch for. Playing Kevin is Jay Ryan, who also stars on "Sea Patrol" with Hutchison's Jungle Fury co-star Nikolai Nikolaeff. PR voice actor Stephen Lovatt (voice of Hamhock, Jungle Fury) appears on the series as Amy's gambling father. "Go Girls" would go on to feature other PR stars like Ari Boyland (Flynn, RPM), James Napier (Conner, Dino Thunder) and John Tui (Doggie Cruger, SPD).
