Anna Hutchison & Ria Vandervis on "Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities" (2009)

Anna Hutchison (Lily, Jungle Fury) continued her starring role as Alison Dine on the Australian drama "Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities" into the show's seventh episode of the season titled "A Nice Little Earner." Alison is taken aback when her boyfriend and drug kingpin Terry Clark begins to experience more stress from his associates who continually turn up dead at his request. When he takes Alison for a secretive drive into the middle of nowhere, she fears that she may be next on his personal hit list. Terry has other plans, though. He shows Alison where he keeps his cash buried and reaffirms his love of her loyalty to him. But after the police uncover his latest dead employees, Terry is forced to head out of the country, leaving Alison to run the business in his absence. She's heartbroken at being left alone, as he skips town with his ex-girlfriend and infant son. Alison is supported by her new best friend Kay Reynolds, played by Ria Vandervis (Miratrix, Overdrive). Vandervis appears in a few scenes of this episode when Alison tells her of Terry's plans and the fact that she'll be left to run his drug trade in Sydney without him. Kay moves in with Alison to help her. This episode was Hutchison's fifth and Vandervis' second on the series.
