Former Blue Ranger Archie Kao (Kai, Lost Galaxy) made two appearances on the long-running medical drama "ER," during the show's tenth season back in 2004. Kao appeared as Yuri, a student who interacts with E.R. intern Neela (series regular Parminder Nagra) when she begins her lab rotation taking her out of the emergency room and into a science lab run by a clique of students who don't want her interfering with their work. Neela eventually befriends Yuri and his buddy Colin and in their second appearance, Neela discovers that they are doing drug experiments on themselves to get high. But when Yuri has a dangerous reaction to the chemicals in his system, Neela gives them no choice but to come down to the E.R. where Yuri's heart stops briefly, before he's shocked back to life by Dr. Pratt (series regular Mekhi Phifer).
