David de Lautour (RJ, Jungle Fury) made his second appearance on "Xena: Warrior Princess" roughly three years after his first during season one. Given his noticeable aging, de Lautour was able to play a completely different character in the season five episode "Fallen Angel." This time around he appears as the angel Lief, who greets Gabrielle and Xena upon their arrival in the afterlife. He carries Gabrielle off, only to be attacked, leading to her descent into the demonic hands of Callisto. Lief blames himself for losing Gabrielle but his mistake is eventually rectified after Xena leads the charge to rescue her best friend. Lief is at Gabrielle's side when she is crowned an archangel, shortly before being returned to the land of the living with Xena. David was the first in a long line of PR guest stars during Season 5 of "Xena."
