Erin Cahill (Jen, Time Force) guest-starred on the hit comedy "How I Met Your Mother" this week. Cahill played the role of Heather Mosby, the sister of the show's main character Ted (played by Josh Radnor). In this holiday episode, Ted is not excited when he learns his sister is planning to move to New York where he's living, given her past full of irresponsibility. Heather vows that she's grown up, but Ted doesn't believe. He believes he's made his point when he learns that she's slept with his womanizing friend Barney (played by Neil Patrick Harris) during a job interview. It turns out, however, to be a trick played on him to prove she is responsible. Cahill appears throughout the half-hour episode titled "Little Minnesota." Ted co-signs Heather's New York apartment lease at the end of the episode, meaning Cahill could turn up again on the series.
