Archie Kao's (Kai, Lost Galaxy) very first appearance on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation came during the show's second season and he didn't portray his recurring character Archie Johnson. Kao first appeared in the second episode of season two as a college campus security technician. CSI detective Nick Stokes (series regular George Eads) consults with him when the team discovers that the dormitory security cameras may have picked up something around the time their victim disappeared. Kao appears in only one scene and while his character is never referred to by name, his badge identifies him as "M. Blaze." Kao would make his first appearance as Archie Johnson only five episodes later.
