Archie Kao (Kai, Lost Galaxy) began his recurring role on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" during the seventh episode of the show's second season. He first appeared as his namesake Archie Johnson in the episode "Caged." Although his name was never mentioned in the one scene he appeared in, his character's full name did appear in the episode's end credits. Kao has appeared on the show throughout all of its subsequent seasons, including the current season. In "Caged," he assists investigators Catherine & Sara, as they get to the bottom of a case involving a woman who was killed when her car was hit by a train.
