The year before his Wild Force role, Ilia Volok
(Dr. Viktor Adler/Master Org, Wild Force) took on the villainous role of one of John Travolta's henchmen in the big screen action thriller, "Swordfish." In the film, Travolta plays Gabriel Shear, the head of a secret counter-terrorist cell, who sets out to steal hundreds of millions of government dollars left untouched since the shutdown of operation SWORDFISH in the 1980s. Shear enlists expert hacker Stanley Jobson (played by Hugh Jackman) to gain access to the cash, kidnapping his daughter to guarantee the ex-con's help. Volok appears in several scenes throughout the film, as his unnamed character provides back-up to Shear in his crimes. Volok's character is placed in charge of keeping Stanley's daughter contained and when Shear's associate, Ginger Knowles (played by Halle Berry) is put on the chopping block after her cover as an undercover agent is blown, Volok is there to help in punishing her as Stanley is forced to watch. Volok is behind the wheel of the bus during the film's climactic final chase sequence and survives the ensuing carnage, escaping on a helicopter which explodes in the air when Stanley shoots it down with a rocket-launcher.
