The year after his Power Rangers stint, Matthew Sakimoto (Young Adam, MMPR) played a small role in the (very) low-budget feature film "Future War," which tells the story of a runaway human slave (played by Daniel Bernhardt) from the future who ends up in the present day. The cyborg rulers pursue him, with the help of their dinosaur trackers, leading to danger for all those he comes across. Sakimoto portrays Max, an orphan who is taken care of by a former prostitute-turned nun who joins in the fight against the cyborgs. Sakimoto appears in a few climactic scenes of the film.
