Dwayne Cameron, Antonia Prebble & Beth Allen on "The Tribe" (2000)

The twelfth episode of "The Tribe's" third series deals with the aftermath of original Mallrat, Dal, who died in a skirmish with the villainous Chosen in the previous episode. Dwayne Cameron (Tyzonn, Overdrive) continues his starring role as Bray, who speaks at Dal's funeral in the mountains and tries to keep his resistance together in the wake of the tragedy. Beth Allen's (Vella, Overdrive) character Amber is left devastated by her close friend's death and she withdraws from everyone around her. Ultimately Dal's death forces her to confront her feelings and she finally comes clean to Bray, revealing that she still loves him. The two reignite their romance and sleep together. Their reunion is shortlived as Amber decides to head out of the city to reach out to more tribes and increase the numbers in the resistance, so they can face The Chosen at full force. Back at the mall, Trudy, played by Antonia Prebble (Clare, Mystic Force) is outraged to learn that she and her daughter were used as bait to draw out the resistance in an effort to capture them. She is furious to learn that The Chosen's leader, The Guardian would use her that way, given her supposed important role as The Chosen's Supreme Mother.
