Vernon Wells in "Charlie Valentine" (2009)

Vernon Wells (Ransik, Time Force) played a supporting role in the mob film "Charlie Valentine," which follows the title character, an aging mob boss trying to execute one last heist before retirement. When the job goes sour and Valentine is the only survivor he reunites with his son, teaching him the crime business to protect him and make things right. Wells appears as one of Valentine's crew who helps plan and lead the heist before Valentine's arrival on the scene. While he's never referred to by name in the film, he's credited as 'Broad.' When the crew discovers that their target is more protected than they thought, they end up in a fire fight that leaves all of them dead, except for Broad, who holds his own with a pistol against the rival gang. Ultimately, Broad is taken down and tortured after Charlie gets away. Though Broad's fate is not shown on-screen, it can be assumed that he was killed for information on how to track down Charlie Valentine.
