Gareth Yuen (Dax, Overdrive) continued his supporting role on the frontier series "Ponderosa." In the seventh episode of the season titled "Quarantine," his character Hop Sing is at the forefront. While holding a celebration of friends, the Cartwright family and those closest to them begin to succumb to the deadly disease, cholera. Their illnesses are immediately blamed on Hop Sing's cooking, but he soon uncovers the truth and even develops an antidote that helps them all before it's too late. Hop Sing gains the respect of the townspeople and manages to save everyone, even the Cartwrights.
