Brandon Jay McLaren's (Jack, SPD) second "Smallville" post here on the blog actually features his first appearance on the series. McLaren made a brief appearance during the long-running show's third season finale. He appeared as a delivery man in the episode "Covenant," which finds Clark dealing with a young woman claiming to be Kara from Krypton. He later discovers it is all a ploy orchestrated by his father Jor-El to lure Clark away from Smallville. McLaren appears early in the episode working for Federated Couriers to deliver an envelope to Clark at the Kent Farm, along with the ominous announcement that it's from the imprisoned Lionel Luthor. McLaren shares his one scene with series star Tom Welling.
