Ten years before they became Jungle Fury Masters, Stig Eldred (Master Rilla, Jungle Fury) and Bruce Allpress (Master Phant, Jungle Fury) appeared together on the action-adventure series "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys." Both actors have prominent roles in the fourth season episode "War Wounds," which has Hercules and his friends attempting to liberate the men being held in a prison in deadly condition. Eldred appears as Gagnon, the cruel overseer of the prison, who takes pride in his torture of the prisoners. He appears in several scenes, including one where he punishes the defiant Phidias, who stands up to his tyranny. Gagnon is ultimately killed. Bruce Allpress plays Phidias, an honorable man who is thrown into prison for rebellion against the king and dies there. He appears in a few scenes of the episode.Stig Eldred
