Josephine Davison, Michael Hurst & Chris Graham on "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" (1999)

Josephine Davison's (Morgana, SPD) second "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" post here on the blog comes from the sixth season episode "City of the Dead." In the episode, Hercules and his pal Iolaus head to Egypt because Queen Nefertiti wants a peaceful alliance with Greece. Her children, however, have other plans. Davison portrays Nefertiti's daughter Amensu, who would rather Egypt return to their warlike past when they were ruled by her father. The mother & daughter's strained relationship gets worse, after Amensu's brother Ramses is revealed to be in cahoots with his sister. They turn on their mother and attempt to frame Hercules. When her mother refuses to sentence Ramses to death despite his betrayal, Amensu changes her ways and attempts to help Hercules & Iolaus stop her brother from taking hold of a supernatural power to rule Egypt himself. Michael Hurst (voice of Vexacus, Ninja Storm) continues his role as Hercules' best friend Iolaus who is drawn into the intrigue in Egypt, at Hercules' side. Mystic Force's Chris Graham (Leanbow, Mystic Force) appears in the minor role of a courtier in Queen Nefertiti's kingdom in a few scenes of the episode. Davison & Graham also appeared together on "Cleopatra 2525."
