Sarah Brown in "Heart of the Beholder" (2005)

Sarah Brown (Heather, Zeo) had a starring role in "Heart of the Beholder," a film based on the true story of a family that opened one of the first video rental stores in 1980's St. Louis, only to be threatened and run out of business by a group of religious zealots, crusading against indecency on film. Brown appeared as Diane Howard, the wife of Mike Howard, the enterprising man who decides to open the video store, just as the couple welcomes their first child. Soon, they face treachery from their friends and community thanks to the religious group, whose threats get more dangerous as Mike remains defiant, even in the face of his crumbling marriage after his daughter is physically threatened. Brown appears throughout the movie as Mike's outspoken wife who urges him to fight for their family and fight for his dream. She even joins the effort by pretending to be a prostitute to expose the corrupt District Attorney. A full zip of screencaps is available below.
