Jason Smith (Casey, Jungle Fury) continued his starring role as Robbie Hunter on "Home and Away." Episode #3883 brings his downward spiral to a boiling point. After accidentally stepping on a used hypodermic needle in the woods, Robbie's behavior changed, causing him to turn on his family and friends. In this episode, they've had enough. After Robbie's doctor suggests an intervention, the Hunter family and Robbie's close friends Tasha and Kim lock him in a room, forcing him to hear how terrible he's treated them. Robbie finally breaks down, revealing his change in behavior was out of fear that they would abandon him if he contracted HIV from the needle. He tells them how a friend of his at boarding school got HIV and was treated horribly because of it. His family & friends assure him that would never happen and Robbie seems back to his old self. His relationship with Tasha, however is still off-course as she refuses to forgive him for his behavior and breaks off their romance, leaving him even more upset.
"Home and Away" currently airs on Seven Network (Australia)
