Former Red Ranger Brandon Jay McLaren (Jack, SPD) played a small role in the 2009 romantic drama "Love Happens." The film stars Aaron Eckhart as a self-help guru named Burke whose book about coping with loss makes him into a major success, but secretly he struggles in dealing with his own wife's death. When he meets Eloise (played by Jennifer Aniston) he's forced to front his feelings over his lost love. McLaren appears in a few scenes of the film as Mohawk, a friend of Aniston's co-worker and best friend Marty. When Marty invites Eloise to see her perform her poetry on stage, Mohawk is amongst her other friends in attendance. The group is later joined by Burke and take a walk through Seattle. When they each add a piece of gum to a large public wall, McLaren's character seems grossed out by doing it. McLaren has only a few lines in his two scenes.
