The epic action drama "Spartacus" returned for its second season earlier this year and three Power Rangers villains were in attendance for the second episode titled, "A Place in This World." Craig Parker
(voice of Motodrone, Ninja Storm) is promoted to full cast member as his character, Gaius Glaber, receives a political promotion in the wake of the massacre that ended Season 1. However, his past with Sparactus is re-ignited, as he is ordered to bring down the rebel and his growing army of escaped slaves, tearing through Capua with a vengeance, which is blamed on Glaber who first captured the gladiator. The trail of violence is illustrated in several scenes, one featuring Jungle Fury villain, Bede Skinner
(Jarrod/Daishi, Jungle Fury). Credited as Scar Merc, Skinner plays the leader of a small Roman hunting party searching for signs of Spartacus and his rebel force. The fighters hide in secret, hoping to fool the soldier into leaving the compound where they have taken refuge, but when things don't go smoothly a battle ensues. Skinner gets a fight scene with Spartacus (new actor Liam McIntyre) before being killed. The home where the fight takes place falls under their control when they arrive looking to track down the love of one of their leaders, Crixus, who discovers that the woman was passed around as a slave between many noble houses. He confronts the Dominus of the house, played by PR voice actor Mark Ferguson
(voice of Moltor, Overdrive; voice of Gekkor, Jungle Fury). The invading gladiators take the unnamed Dominus by surprise and Crixus demands information but gets very little before killing the Dominus. In addition to the trio of PR villains appearing in this episode, Joseph Naufahu
(Guard, RPM) also appears in his recurring role as one of the rebels, Liscus. Naufahu is the brother of SPD's Rene Naufahu
(Emperor Gruumm, SPD).
