Paul Freeman (Ivan Ooze, MMPR: The Movie) played a small role in the fantasy film "George and the Dragon." In the spirit of such films as "Willow" and "The Princess Bride," this movie tells the story of a young Knight named George (played by James Purefoy) who returns home from the Crusades to start a new life. But when he learns of a desperate king's loss of his daughter, George sets out to save the princess (played by Piper Perabo) from a menacing dragon. Freeman appears as Sir Robert, George's father who lost both of his legs while battling a dragon. It's a tale that Sir Robert enjoys telling but George does not believe. When the two reunite after the Crusades, Sir Robert tells George that he will find the dreaded dragon and destroy him. George doesn't realize that his father's prophecy will come true until he's faced with the beast and takes his place as a historic legend. Freeman appears in three scenes of the film. The film airs on U.S. television under the title "Dragon Sword."
