Rose McIver, Michael Hurst & Joel Tobeck on "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" (1997)

Season 3 of "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" featured a 3-part episode surrounding Hercules finding love with Serena, a Golden Hind, a human/horse species with special powers that are slaves to Hercules' half-brother the God of War, Ares. Part 2 of the saga is titled "When a Man Loves a Woman" and finds Hercules proposing to Serena, despite her reservations about them being able to live happily given how most people want to hunt her down and she cannot hold her human form if she is touched by a human. Hercules is counseled in his dilemma by his best friend Iolaus, played by Michael Hurst (voice of Vexacus, Ninja Storm). Throughout the episode Iolaus tries to help a village with a water tank that seems to constantly get sabotaged. He's distracted along the way by Joxer, one of Xena's bumbling allies who comes looking to meet Hercules. Hercules travels to the afterlife to visit his deceased wife Deianeira and their children to tell them about his engagement. A young Rose McIver (Summer, RPM) appears in a few scenes as Ilea, Hercules' only daughter. They panic when one of his son's goes missing, a ploy by Ares to give Hercules second thoughts about marrying Serena. Ares employs his evil nephew Strife to impersonate Hercules' boy and later a villager who helps expose Serena's true self to the village which tries to kill her. Joel Tobeck (voice of Slob Goblin & Footzilla, Ninja Storm) reprises his role as Strife in the episode. In the end, Hercules & Serena marry with Hercules' family happily watching from the clouds. Serena would be killed in the 3rd part of the saga, but Hercules would get his chance to save her life later in the season in the episode "The End of the Beginning."
